Om Prakash ( born on 7th August 1989 ) is a student of B.E. in Production Engineering at Patna Campus of Birla Institute of Technology Mesra Ranchi India. He has done his matriculation from DAV Public School Runnisaidpur Sitamarhi, Bihar, then after for higher secondary(10+2), he came up to Muzaffarpur and admitted in DAV Public School, Darbhanga Road, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Though, he has keen interest in Economics and Sociology, he chosen the field of Engineering and got admission in BIT Mesra Patna Campus in Production Engineering.
He is credited for the establishment of Student Branch of the IEEE, an International and world’s largest professional association, HQ, at New Jersey, USA. Currently he is Chairman of IEEE Branch of his Institute and President of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers BIT Patna, a student’s Association. He has also played a crucial role as Coordinator of Press and Media of his Institute. Press & Media Relations of institute has brodened due to his enthusiastic and passionate workmanship. He has great interest in Sustainable Development, Economics, Sociology and Entrepreneurial Development. He is working on the establishment of E Cell, a student’s association under the guidance of Dr. S. P. Lal, Deputy Director of the Institute.
